Curriculum Unavailable in other traditional schools
eStem requires students to develop and apply 21st century learning, knowledge and skills through true rigor of instruction.
The school curriculum incorporates a language tract:
- Latin in grades K-4 (as a foundation for English and other foreign languages);
- Spanish in grades 5-8; and
- Mandarin Chinese (for trade) in grade 9.
We have designed an Economics curriculum based on the National Association of Economic Educators standards.
- Twenty key economic areas are covered every year at all grade levels, with the instruction differentiated for age.
- A Technology and Engineering curriculum that emphasizes theory rather than teaching applications, networking, etc., which by graduation is often obsolete due to the rapid change in the field.
- Middle school and high school tracks of formal Aristotelian Logic and Rhetoric is incorporated to teach students to think, and to protect them from cleverly, but poorly formed arguments.
- Advanced, classical curriculums in Language Arts, World History, American History, Geography.
- Courses in Art and Music have also been selected.
Ours is not the first school to focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. The Stem schools operating now are focused on producing employees for the Stem industries. What sets us apart is that we are a Stem school system focused on producing graduates who will also create jobs in the Stem industries through entrepreneurship, inventions, patents – future Stem business men and women.
